The First Year of Frames
I completely forgot sites used to offer the choice of “Frames or No Frames”.

Olduse
Brilliant. A 30-year delayed “live” archive of Usenet. I must remember to come back when it reaches 1995. (via Tom Taylor)

Html2text: THE ASCIINATOR (aka html2txt)
Turns a web page into Markdown-formatted ASCII. (via Preoccupations)

Poor Yorick Entertainment
Posters, graphics etc created for all the movies, brands, etc in ‘Infinite Jest’. Lovely. I assume it’ll be a book at some point… (via Kottke)
Tweets
@FinalBullet @gwire '"Dr. Who"'?
@FinalBullet As if his stupid name wasn't confusing enough!
@FinalBullet What?! It's the name of a telly programme, and Twitter doesn't do italics or <cite> tags. Mustn't let standards slip!
I think I'm getting old. I found 'Doctor Who' and the Apple keynote equally confusing.
@janetgyford It wasn’t role-playing. It was a playground-type game with rules, and forfeits for mistakes.
@janetgyford No irony intended! It *sounded* like EastEnders, but I still had no idea of what the rules were.
Dazed by unexplained lack of sleep, unreasonable back ache, unwarranted rain, unending project. Unmonday.
