  1. Design 1968 Journal - VADS: the online resource for visual arts

A favourable period review of Britannic House, since revamped as City Point.

  2. BLDGBLOG: Remnants of the Biosphere

Wow. Amazing to think this could be part of suburbs - I visited in 1997 and it was in the middle of nowhere.

  3. Simon Reynolds’s Notes on the noughties: The musically fragmented decade | Music |

The 200 best albums of the noughties weren’t as good as the best 200 of the 1960s. But the 2,000 best albums were better than the 2,000 best of the 1960s.

  4. Dave Eggers on his favorite things about newspapers | Books | Interview | The A.V. Club

An interview. I like, and share, his bemusement at newspapers’ reliance on wire stories when the world isn’t short of writers. (via Tom Taylor)

@fjordaan £20!? I had a look on eBay and there were loads of mid-late 80s ones for a few quid that didn't sell.

I have a dozen 2000AD and Judge Dredd annuals from the 80s. Anyone want one or more, free?

I'm starting to like 2010. Its hand brushed my knee earlier. Maybe it was accidental, but you never know. It's so hard to read the signals.

@davidschneider I don't mean to be picky. OK I do but don't you mean "blog post" rather than "blog"? It's like saying "I wrote a newspaper".
