  1. The Technium: 1,000 Years of Forgetting

I often think how even the most famous people alive today won’t be remembered in the distant future. But more importantly… A BRILLIANT video from the year 3000!

  2. Charlie Brooker: why I love video games | Technology | The Guardian

Not just interesting on why games are good, but on exactly how non-games-players get frustrated with them. Would be good to talk about that more.

  3. Visualizing empires decline on Vimeo

Lovely visualisation of the expansion and contraction of four empires over 200 years. (via Long Now)

@megp Yes, I will somehow share whatever Christmasiness I can. (Hmm, S3FM.co.uk seems to be broken...)

@knackeredhack Thanks, but should have clarified... only really interested in pop, rock, rap, etc Christmas songs!

Apologies for @gowalla/Virgin spam. Bloody Gowalla "helpfully" remembers your "spam Twitter with my check-in" setting from last time.
