@adrianhon Given the quantity of TV drama made and the potentially low budgets, the conservatism of 99% of it compared to cinema baffles me.

@adrianhon Well, I’d assume that most/all of it would be unchallenging, conventional blandness, like most TV dramas. But it’d make a change.

@hugovk I realised my rule had the potential for a positive feedback loop that would result in an infinite amount of SF, but… oh well.

@NaomiAllthenews I wondered about that, but didn’t want to limit horizons. No excuses to not make a Dancers At The End Of Time series!

For every hour of TV drama set in the past the BBC commissions, it must also commission an hour of science fiction. #wheniamDG
