• 10:40am: Hoping grey skies and drizzle transform into a freak August blizzard that leaves us snowed in and unable to return to London.
• 07:57pm: The reluctant drive back to Lunnun slightly brightened by DJ Gyfo's 1980s disco. Available for weddings, birthdays, funerals, etc.
• 11:31pm: Car unpacked, filled up, dropped off. Home, tired, with enough fresh chutney to garnish the lunches of an army of ploughmen.
