@hugovk Thanks, I saw that issue. Who could possibly have foreseen that using internal APIs might cause such a problem!

Maybe I should pin them. Annoying - they've run smoothly for ages and then now, two similar failures at once.

@hugovk I ended up having to pin a version of coverage too, because coveralls allowed a version to be installed that it seems not to work with. All working now.

I'm standing on the shoulders of giants, but they're not 100% reliable giants.

@hugovk @samuelpepys Ahh, that sounds like it yes – I only looked at open Issues. That's a nasty one!

Reassuring, I guess, that *sometimes* problems I come across aren't my fault.

@hugovk Oh, interesting, thanks! I'd never have thought to try that. I see a couple of pipenv Issues related to this 2021.11.5.post0, but I don't think they're the same as what I'm experiencing here. Thank you again.

Any Python people using GitHub Actions having problems with virtualenvs recently?

I've two Django repos using pipenv which have started quitting because "No module named 'django'" when running "pipenv run ./manage.py ...". Nothing's changed. Django is installed.

Social media would be a better place to connect with people if the folks building & using these services had spent formative time on and taken inspiration from Flickr & MetaFilter instead of 4chan & Reddit. Gardening vs. waste management.
