    @tomcoates I feel like the slow degregation of open API's has contributed to this. Some things are extremely difficult (if not impossible) to build now because data has become the core asset.

    I miss bodging things together. It constantly feels like you're fighting the platforms.

    @tomcoates My possibly unfortunate opinion is that this is the consequence of scaling everything (driven by profit) to include Your Racist Uncles.

    Punk rock was never supposed to be enjoyed by everyone. And good, everyone is connected. But it’s a lot more fun to make punk rock than Muzak.
