@blech I don't think I've ever hidden the sidebar in iTunes so at least that's one annoyance I don't suffer now.

@kieranhogg I haven't even dared try do much searching. I'm attempting to accept everything... but it's trying at times!

@benbrown Yeah, I just can't tell. I end up having to go to the Controls -> Shuffle -> On/Off menu, which seems bonkers.

I've just upgraded to macOS Catalina so I'm still learning to love Music. The on/off states of the shuffle and repeat icons are a masterclass of subtle design.

Here are the states for shuffle. Not only are they almost indistinguishable, and tiny, but the darker one is "off".

@tomstuart If you do enough of these then it's worth it because a few people will cough up no wait that's emails from foreign princes who need some cash to free up their inheritance and will definitely give you a share.
