King Street ran north/south, roughly between today’s Parliament Square and Downing Street, west of the current road, and the Axe was a pub vaguely near No. 10, and it would be a terrible thing to wish that what if twitter.com/samuelpepys/st…
But, Lord! to see how the plague spreads. It being now all over King’s Street, at the Axe, and next door to it, and in other places.
