That time Google Street View reversed about 1km, unaided. Thankfully it got stuck in a dead-end street, or it’d have reversed into a creek.

Sometimes Google Street View goes haywire and drives me down roads and I can’t stop it. Good job they’re not making self-driving cars LOL!

@mediaflash Well the trailers are one thing (I'm not bothered either way about them really), but the *adverts* are angry-making.

@tedmills I leave the cinema before the comments.

@mediaflash Yeah, still annoying that it's necessary. And only good for cinemas with assigned seating.

At least I don't have to pay £10+ for the privilege of watching YouTube's ads.

Keep finding myself thinking of going to the cinema, then remembering all the ads I'd have to sit through first. It's worse than YouTube.

@iamdanw There was a rough plan to make a book of that article and covermount it on Wired UK (it’s only in US ed). But it never happened :(

@matlock Oh I know it wasn’t serious… but still, feeling just a tiny portion of that passion, but about someone in politics, would be great.

@matlock Lovely idea. Although I suspect glorifying O/Paralympians for anything other than sporting achievement will be problematic.

@dracos Hmm, maybe it is, although I’ve never consciously listened to it. No better suggestions appeared though!

Which 1980s Radio 1 DJ used the intro to The Associates’ ‘Party Fears Two’ as backing for one of his regular bits? Google failing me.

You know how great you felt about Britain because of the Olympics and Paralympics? HA HA HA, RESHUFFLE!

I almost expected Brant, the physical cartoonist, to jump out and write "FINANCE INDUSTRY" on one man's suit and "GOVERNMENT" on the other.

Cheered by the sight of two men in suits playing chicken, as pedestrians, on the pavement. Neither gave in. Walked right into each other.
