Phew, nasty problems solved by an anonymous stranger on IRC. I won’t kill the internet and all technology today. It is saved.

@dracos Thanks, but I’m using homebrew because apparently it just works. Ha ha ha!

Eventually either me or computers will improve enough that I don’t have to spend hours every few months struggling to install postgres.

@revdancatt Wifi - so it can play internet radio, Listen Again, podcasts, etc. But getting on the wifi adds a bit to the startup time too!

@revdancatt My DAB/Internet radio is, I think, a Linux box. So it takes a while to wake up and go to sleep. I miss the old instant on/off.

@infovore I have reservations too, but almost *every* subject is “forced on” kids at school - few would choose most subjects they study.

This morning I feel like I've missed out my monthly Plasma, Magnetometer, and Eng & Sci calibration subroutines.
