This week I’ve set up a new site for myself, PhilipGyford.com. It’s intended as a kind of shop window for me as an actor. Hmm, that sounds a bit poncy. Hell, just calling myself an actor sounds a bit poncy. But the idea is that people who might cast me in something can find out everything they need to know there without having to come to Gyford.com and wade through posts about Movable Type, music, bikes, etc.
I’ll be updating that site whenever there’s some news about acting-me: if I get a part in something or if I’m going to be in or on something you can see, that’s where I’ll be posting. If I write longer posts about my experiences of acting then I’ll continue to post them here, on Gyford.com. PhilipGyford.com is simply a kind of brief and focused marketing site.
However, everything I post there will also appear on the front page of Gyford.com (there are a couple here already), which I see increasingly as an aggregation of me from around the web. The PhilipGyford.com posts will also be included in my existing combined feed. Confused yet?
